Each year, this initiative provides college scholarships to students who want to get involved with their community and dedicate themselves to helping others.

The Red Thread scholarship program is open to all incoming freshmen, transfer students, graduate students and continuing students at any accredited US college or university for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Applicants must create an original video of 2 minutes or less that discusses the different ways to improve diversity in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

You may submit up to three entries. To enter, you must create your own video in response to the prompt question: What are some creative ideas for how we can promote diversity in STEM? Your video should be no longer than two minutes long.

Submissions should not include more than one idea per person, so choose carefully what best expresses your thoughts, Videos will be judged based on creativity, quality of products, and how well they answer the prompt question. We look forward to seeing what you come up with.
